Found this site surfing for Scott Bonner some very useful information regarding my Scott Bonner.
I have just purchased a reconditioned Scott Bonner 45 17"
It was a great rebuild but the guy did not touch the cutter reel or bottom cutter plate. It cuts ok but when adjusting the gap the outside of the reel bottoms out before the middle even touches the bottom cutter plate. So when I set the reel to not touch the outside the gap in the middle is to big to give an even cut.
Do I need to get the cutter and bottom plate sharpened and any recommendations for a local supplier and approx cost?

The item I have is an old villias lawn mower, the closest I can find via google is a tornado, looking for advice, do I restore or leave as is?
